Marco Zenone

Marco Zenone is a Research Fellow at the University of British Columbia, specifically affiliated with the School of Public Policy and Global Affairs. He is also a Research Associate at the University of Alberta Health Law Institute. His academic journey culminated in a PhD in Public Health & Policy from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, University of London (2024).

His research program focuses on public health mis- and disinformation, health communication, digital platforms, and global health, with a guiding lens on the commercial determinants of health. He has published 38 peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals such as the BMJ, The Lancet, AJPH, and JAMA Network Open.
