Marco Viceconti is a Professor of Industrial Bioengineering at the University of Bologna and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Sheffield, UK. He is a global leader in in silico medicine, having founded and directed the VPH Institute, Avicenna Alliance, and Insigneo Institute—the largest European research hub in this field. His expertise spans computational modeling for healthcare, regulatory science, and translational medicine.
