Marco Palomeque Carrillo is a Researcher in Economic History at the University of Southern Denmark's Department of Economics VIP, affiliated with the Historical Economics & Development Group (HEDG). His research focuses on the intersection of economics and cultural consumption, particularly exploring how music preferences correlate with macroeconomic trends and socio-economic crises. He has received the ACEI Presidents’ Prize for Best Paper (2023) for collaborative work on emotional self-regulation through music.
