Marco Mevius

Prof. Dr. Marco Mevius is a Professor (W3) at Konstanz University of Applied Sciences (HTWG Konstanz), serving as Vice Dean and International Representative within the Faculty of Computer Science. He directs the Konstanz Institute for Process Control (KIPS), focusing on business process management and optimization. His roles include leadership in academia and industry, such as Chair of the Supervisory Board of bamero AG and President of the Board of KlimAktiv gGmbH.

Education: PhD in Applied Computer Science from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and a degree in Economics from Goethe University Frankfurt. Professional experience spans over 15 years in academia and industry, including roles at FZI Research Center for Information Technology and Horus Software GmbH.

Research focuses on agile business process management, process automation, and digital transformation. Projects include UX@BPM, Agile BPM, ADAM, and Green Destination. Active in advancing process design methodologies and smart modeling technologies.
