Marco Düring

Marco Düring is a Professor and Research Group Leader at the Institute for Stroke and Dementia Research, affiliated with the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich. His work focuses on understanding how vascular dysfunction contributes to cognitive decline, particularly in the context of cerebral small vessel disease, which is a major cause of vascular cognitive impairment and often co-occurs with Alzheimer’s disease.
