Marcin Zaborski

Marcin Zaborski, Ph.D., is a political scientist and journalist affiliated with SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw, where he operates within the Institute of Social Sciences and the Research Center on the Economics of Memorial Sites. As a faculty member of the Faculty of Social Sciences in Warsaw under the Department of Journalism and Social Communication, he teaches radio journalism workshops, seminars on journalistic interviews, and courses on journalistic ethics.

His research focuses on social and political communication, politics of history, and collective memory, particularly in the context of memorial sites, museum exhibitions, and historical children's publications. His recent article output spans topics such as the symbolism of memorials in Tallinn (2020), narratives of interwar Polish children's magazines (2019), and ethical dilemmas in media-political discourse (2014–2017). His work often bridges political theory, media sociology, and historical analysis.

As a journalist, he has hosted programs on Radio Trójka (2000–2016), TVP Historia (2015–2016), and RMF FM (2016–2021), and contributes to Dziennik. Gazeta Prawna and Newsweek Psychology. He is the author of books like Biuro Myśli Znalezionych (2013) and co-authored Piekielna nieobecność (2019).
