Marcin Pęski is a Professor in the Department of Economics at the University of Toronto, part of the Faculty of Arts and Science. His research focuses on microeconomic theory, with expertise in game theory and bargaining mechanisms. He holds a Ph.D. from Northwestern University (2005), an M.A. from Northwestern (2001), and prior degrees from the Warsaw School of Economics (2000) and Warsaw University (2000).
His work includes seminal contributions such as Bargaining with Mechanisms (American Economic Review, 2022), which explores strategic negotiation frameworks. Pęski's research emphasizes theoretical models of economic interaction and decision-making under uncertainty.
