Marcin Dębicki

Prof. Marcin Dębicki is a Professor at the Department of the Sociology of Borderland, University of Wrocław. His research focuses on Polish borderlands, national neighbourhoods in Central and Eastern Europe, and the concept of Central Europe. He holds office hours on Thursdays 13:00–15:00 in room 229.

Key research areas include geopolitical sociology with emphasis on border regions, transnational communities, and historical sociological analysis of territorial changes. His work examines contemporary challenges in European border regions through interdisciplinary approaches combining sociology, history, and political science.
