Dr. Marcin Baranowski is an Assistant Professor in the Department of 19th Century History at the Faculty of Humanities, John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, Poland. His academic work focuses on military history, particularly the Napoleonic Wars and their impact on Polish soldiers and society. He has edited and published extensively on topics such as Napoleonic military strategies, Polish volunteer units, and the cultural and physical experiences of soldiers during wartime.
