Marcia Fetters

Marcia Fetters is Associate Professor in Western Michigan University's College of Education and Human Development. She holds a PhD, MAEd, and BS from Michigan State University.

Her research focuses on innovative science education through:

• Universal Design for Learning frameworks
• 21st-century skill integration in STEM
• Teacher professional development
• Hands-on science modeling

Publications demonstrate expertise in creating accessible science curricula using Lego models for molecular processes and developing alternative certification pathways for teachers. Recent work examines strategies for teaching creativity and critical thinking in science classrooms.
