Marcia Brackbill

Marcia Brackbill is a Professor in the Department of Pharmacy Practice at Shenandoah University, where she also serves as a medical speaker and expert witness. She holds a PharmD from Shenandoah University and completed residencies at University of Virginia and Virginia Commonwealth University.

Her research focuses on immunization rates, innovative teaching strategies, and pharmacist roles in preventive care. Brackbill has published on virtual learning efficacy in pharmacy education and adult vaccination practices. She received Shenandoah University's Wilkins Award (2024) and Bernard J Dunn Junior Faculty Research Award (2020), and serves on the Merck Speakers Bureau for adult vaccines.
