Marcello Clarich

Marcello Clarich is a Full Professor of Administrative Law at the Faculty of Law, Luiss Guido Carli University, where he has been employed since 1999. He has also held positions as a visiting professor at the University of Frankfurt and a visiting scholar at the European University Institute.

His research focuses on administrative law, with extensive publications in areas such as administrative procedure, antitrust, privatisation, independent administrative authorities, credit rules, administrative reform, and electronic communication. He is a leading writer for the newspaper Il Sole 24 Ore.

Professor Clarich is actively involved in governmental committees on administrative reform and has taught at the Scuola Superiore della Pubblica Amministrazione from 1997 to 1999. He is fluent in Italian (mother tongue), English, German, and has basic knowledge of French.
