Marcella Ucci is a Professor in Healthy and Sustainable Buildings at University College London (UCL), serving as Deputy Director of Academic Operations at the Bartlett School of Environment, Energy & Resources (BSEER). She completed her architecture degree at the University of Naples (2003), followed by an MSc and PhD in Environmental Design and Engineering at UCL (2003-2007). Her research focuses on designing buildings to enhance health, reduce environmental impacts, and address inequalities through indoor air quality, building performance monitoring, and community engagement. She led the development of the MSc 'Health, Wellbeing and Sustainable Buildings' (2017-2019) and was Director of Education for BSEER (2020-2023).

She contributes to public health initiatives through work on indoor air quality guidelines for children’s health and damp/mould guidance for the UK government.
