Marcel Splinter

Marcel Splinter serves as Theme Director of the Meaningful Economy and Lecturer in Social Marketing/Meaningful Economy/Leadership/D&I at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. He is also Concept Owner of Brainworm, a transition manager, and trainer focused on sustainable economic transformation.

His research centers on embedding sustainability into societal frameworks through the Meaningful Economy paradigm, emphasizing how sustainable resource use and social commitment can become self-evident societal norms. He actively broadens student perspectives beyond environmental sustainability to encompass holistic societal functioning, advocating for cross-disciplinary collaboration to elevate educational quality and drive systemic change.
