Dr. Marc Wooldridge is a Professor and Director of Percussion Activities at Indiana Wesleyan University's Division of Music+Theatre. He teaches music theory, composition, and percussion, and leads ensembles like the IWU Percussion Ensemble and Resounding Pans Steel Drum Ensemble. His professional roles include Principal Percussionist with the Marion Philharmonic Orchestra, Affiliate Artist with Encore Mallets, and leadership in organizations such as the Percussive Arts Society (Indiana Chapter President) and Christian Fellowship of Art Music Composers.

Wooldridge’s research and creative work focus on percussion performance, composition, and music education. He has composed 16 percussion works, including Diamond Hill, and led the Maelstrom Percussion Ensemble, which received a Chamber Music America residency grant. His awards include recognition for ensemble achievements and grants supporting artistic projects.
As a performer, he has premiered marimba concertos by David Gillingham and Russell Peterson. He also contributes to music education through clinics for the Indiana All-State Percussion Ensemble and leadership roles in national conferences.
