Marc Streit is a tenured Full Professor at the Institute of Computer Graphics, Johannes Kepler University Linz, Austria. He leads the Visual Data Science Lab and has held visiting positions at Harvard Medical School and Harvard Paulson School of Engineering.

His research focuses on biological data visualization, visual analytics, and explainable AI, with applications in drug discovery, manufacturing, and decision support systems. Projects are funded by FWF, FFG, and industry partners.
Recent publications center on AI interpretability, uncertainty visualization, and human-AI interaction. His lab develops tools like Taggle, ParaDime, and CIME for complex data analysis.
