Marc Rysman is a Professor of Economics at Boston University's Department of Economics within the College of Arts and Sciences. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison (1999) and has served as Department Chair, Editor of the RAND Journal of Economics, and President of the Industrial Organization Society.
His research focuses on industrial organization, antitrust, and regulation, with expertise in network effects, two-sided markets, and platform economics.
