Marc Mehrer

Marc Mehrer, M.Sc., is a Research Assistant and Doctoral Candidate at the Chair of Management Accounting, TUM School of Management, Technical University of Munich. He holds an M.S. in Management & Technology (TUM, 2018-2020), with a TIE²-program at Tsinghua University and studies at Tongji University. His B.A. in Business Administration (2011-2015) from the University of St. Gallen included semesters abroad at Harvard University and Maastricht University.

His research focuses on ESG and its integration into management accounting frameworks. Teaching responsibilities include courses such as 'Digital Controlling,' 'Globalisierung & Digitalisierung,' and 'Cost Accounting.'

Professionally, he co-founded Cultivata (2018–2019) and held roles at Porsche Consulting, Auctus Capital Partners, Daimler AG, and Audi AG. He received the ‘Manage&More’ scholarship from UnternehmerTUM during his master’s studies.
