Christoph Köster

Christoph Köster is a Research Associate and Doctoral Student at the Chair of Controlling, TUM School of Management, Technical University of Munich. He holds an M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Technology and Management-Oriented Business Administration (TUM-BWL) from TUM, with a semester abroad at Tongji University in Shanghai, China. His research focuses on ESG criteria in supplier selection and service provider evaluation. He teaches courses on ESG and Sustainability in Accounting/Finance and challenges in the Aviation Industry. Professionally, he has worked as a Manager at goetzpartners Management Consultants since 2017, with prior roles at BMW AG, KPMG, and Amazon.de.

His academic career includes internships in logistics, operations consulting, and vendor management across Munich, South Africa, and China. He is affiliated with the Chair of Controlling led by Prof. Dr. Maximilian Blaschke and Prof. Dr. Gunther Friedl (on leave).
