Marc Howard Scheetz is an Adjunct Professor in Pharmacology at Midwestern University's School of Medicine, holding dual appointments in the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Department of Pharmacology. He serves as Director of the Pharmacometrics Center of Excellence and has been a Tenure-Track Professor since 2018. His academic qualifications include a Doctor of Pharmacy (Butler University, 2003) and a Master of Science in Clinical Investigation (Northwestern University, 2007).
Scheetz's research focuses on antimicrobial pharmacodynamics, nephrotoxicity mechanisms, and clinical pharmacology in critically ill patients. He has published extensively on beta-lactam efficacy, drug nephrotoxicity interactions, and polymyxin B dosing strategies. His work bridges translational research between animal models and clinical practice.
