معرفی
Marc Devillard is a CNRS Researcher Fellow at the Institut des Sciences Chimiques de Rennes (ISCR), Université de Rennes 1, where he leads research in organometallic and coordination chemistry. He is a member of the 'Organométalliques: matériaux et catalyse' (OMC) team and has been actively involved in synthetic methodology and heterochemistry of B, P, and Si since 2019.
His research interests include:
- Organometallic and coordination chemistry
- Heterochemistry of boron, phosphorus, and silicon
- Synthetic methodology development
- Catalysis, particularly in main group and transition metal systems
His recent scientific production includes 24 publications in high-impact journals such as Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS), Angewandte Chemie, Chemical Communications, Chemistry – A European Journal, and Inorganic Chemistry, along with a book chapter. These works reflect a strong focus on synthetic innovation and catalytic applications in molecular chemistry.
He has received competitive funding from CNRS through its Emergence program, supporting his current postdoctoral project on carbo-alumination of silicon heterocycles. This project highlights his leadership in directing research and mentoring early-career scientists.
His career path includes postdoctoral fellowships at:
- Université de Rennes 1 (2018–2019)
- Université de Grenoble (2017–2018)
- University of Girona (2017)
- University of Amsterdam (2015–2017)
He completed his PhD at Université Toulouse III Paul Sabatier under the supervision of Dr. Didier Bourissou and Dr. Ghenwa Bouhadir, focusing on fundamental and applied heterochemistry.
