معرفی
Marc DUBOIS is a Professor at the University of Clermont Auvergne, affiliated with the Faculty of Chemistry and the Department of Inorganic Materials. He leads the 'Inorganic Materials' team at the Clermont-Ferrand Chemistry Institute and directs the joint research laboratory 'Fluor Chemistry' (UBP/CNRS/Orano). His roles include overseeing the 'Fluorination and Fluorinated Materials' thematic area.
Education: PhD in Materials Science from Université Nancy I (1995-1999), followed by a postdoctoral position at the Institut des Matériaux Jean Rouxel in Nantes. He became a Professor in 2008 after serving as a lecturer since 2000.
Research focuses on fluorinated materials synthesis, energy storage applications (e.g., lithium batteries), tribology, and gas sensor development. Techniques include fluorine-based functionalization and characterization via solid-state NMR and EPR. He also contributes to uranium hexafluoride purification and corrosion studies in collaboration with industry partners.
Professional memberships include the CAP20-25 Academy, French Chemical Society (SFEC), and ANR committees. His expertise spans fluorine chemistry, nanomaterials, and material characterization.
