Dr. Mara Brumana is Assistant Professor in the Department of Management, Information and Production Engineering at the University of Bergamo, Italy. She is also an Affiliated Researcher at the Centre for Family Entrepreneurship and Ownership (CeFEO) of Jönköping International Business School, Sweden, and at the Institute of Change Management and Management Development at WU Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria.
Her research investigates how family firms’ embeddedness in social and institutional contexts influences their decision-making and behaviour. She integrates perspectives from institutional theory, social embeddedness, and organizational behaviour to illuminate the unique dynamics of family enterprises.
