Mar Fayos is an Assistant Professor of Voice at Berklee College of Music, where she serves as the faculty advisor for Latin Music Studies and leads the Latinx/Hispanic Program. She teaches voice and ensemble courses while actively performing as a jazz vocalist with Latin, pop, Mediterranean, and soul influences.

Her international performance career informs her teaching approach, connecting classroom learning with real-world professional experience.
Fayos performs with her band 'Mar Fayos Project' and has collaborated with renowned artists including Toninho Horta, Oscar Stagnaro, and Dee Dee Bridgewater. She recently completed a tour as lead vocalist in Cirque du Soleil's 'Alegría' show in South Korea and Japan, while currently working on her second album following the success of her debut 'Mi Propia Religión' (2020).
