Manuela Arthkamp

Dr.-Ing. Manuela Arthkamp is a lecturer and academic advisor in the Department of Georesources and Process Engineering at Technische Hochschule Georg Agricola (THGA). She has been employed at THGA since 2015, initially as a Research Associate, and transitioned to her current role as a lecturer for special tasks in process engineering in 2021. Her responsibilities include teaching core courses such as Chemistry 1 and Elements of Apparatus Engineering and Safety Technology, as well as supervising internships in Physical Chemistry, Refrigeration, Air Conditioning, Ventilation Technology, and Fluid Energy Machinery.

Her publications (2010-2017) highlight advancements in packed column design, mass transport standardization, and multiphase flow monitoring, often in collaboration with ProcessNet and Ruhr University Bochum. She has presented at major conferences such as ProcessNet Annual Conference and AICHE, contributing to the field of absorption and desorption technologies.

As an academic advisor, she provides consultation for Bachelor's and Master's programs in Process Engineering, offering appointments via phone, video conference, or in-person at THGA. Her career spans roles as a project engineer in plant engineering (2013-2015), Research Associate (2010-2013) at Ruhr University Bochum, and part-time lecturer (2009-2015). Prior to her academic career, she worked as a chemical laboratory technician at Ruhr University Bochum (1998-2010), including vocational training (1998-2001).
