Manuel Jesus Gomez Moratilla

Manuel Jesus Gomez Moratilla is a Research Fellow at the University of Murcia's Faculty of Informatics, Department of Information and Communication Engineering. He is pursuing a PhD in Computer Science with research focusing on game-based assessment, educational technology, and AI applications in learning environments. As a member of the CyberDataLab, he develops analytical frameworks for educational games.

His research integrates data mining, natural language processing, and big data architectures to create scalable educational assessment tools. Recent publications demonstrate his work in developing interoperable assessment systems and explainable AI models for real-time student performance prediction.

Moratilla has supervised multiple undergraduate and Master's theses related to AI applications in education, including work on intelligent tutoring systems and competency assessment through serious games.
