Manon Ménard is a Doctor in Design and Lecturer in the Design, Foresight and Society program at the University of Toulouse Jean Jaurès. She also teaches in the Master's program in DIS at the University of Nîmes. Her academic roles include associate membership in the PROJEKT (UPR) laboratory at Nîmes and the LLA CREATIS laboratory at Toulouse Jean Jaurès. She holds a doctorate (2023) examining inclusion processes in design through an autistic perspective, funded by ANR's 'Aspie-Friendly' project. Her research merges practice-based methods (research-creation) with critical disability studies and feminist theory. Recent work focuses on neurodiversity in digital spaces and participatory design for social justice.
Education: BAC STI Arts Appliqués → BTS (Montaigu) and DSAA (Marseille) in Graphic Design → Master in Transdisciplinary Design (Toulouse Jean Jaurès). Key projects include 'Je suis autiste et…' (since 2021) with Charlotte Dewarumez-Minot and La Bulle!, and 'Raconte-moi chez toi' (2017–2018), exported to South America. She was secretary of Design en Recherche (2020–2022).
Research interests emphasize graphic practices as tools for emancipation, critical pedagogy, and inclusive design frameworks. Awards include the 2017 Création en cours grant. Teaching responsibilities include graphic practice, project workshops, and research methodologies.
