Manoj Bhatta is a PhD Candidate at Charles Darwin University (CDU), affiliated with the Research Institute for the Environment and Livelihoods (RIEL). He holds the position of Senior Research Officer, focusing on conservation governance, ecosystem services, and biodiversity in Nepal. His research explores the effectiveness of conservation strategies for red pandas, sustainable development goals, and climate change adaptation in remote regions.
Education: BSc and MSc in Environmental Science (Tribhuvan University, Nepal). Professional experience includes roles as an Environmental Officer in development projects and a lecturer at Tribhuvan University-affiliated colleges.
Research Interests: Conservation governance frameworks, climate policy, ecosystem service valuation, and community-based natural resource management. His work aligns with UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly those addressing climate action and biodiversity preservation.
