Dr Manjusha Hirekhan is a Lecturer in HRM-Organisational Behaviour at Kent Business School, University of Kent. She is a multidisciplinary researcher with a PhD from Aston Business School, focusing on organisational change, ambidexterity, and HRM in emerging economies.
Her PhD research developed a multilevel framework on organisational receptivity for change and ambidexterity, emphasizing HR as a dynamic capability. She has presented at policy and practitioner events and organized conferences to bridge academia and practice.
Research interests include Human Resource Management (global context and emerging economies), Organisational Ambidexterity, Organisational Receptivity for Change, and Organisational Behaviour. Her work examines HR's role in the organisational ecosystem during change and the micro-dynamics of ambidexterity.
Publications reveal a strong emphasis on emerging economies (India, Ghana, Kuwait), with recent articles on women entrepreneurs in Ghana (2025), hybrid business models in the sharing economy (2024), and servant leadership for learning ambidexterity (2023).
Dr Hirekhan has supervised MBA and Masters dissertations and received a TESSA grant (2020-2021) of £3000 for a community integration programme at KBS Medway aimed at building a sense of belonging.
