Manfred Stock

Prof. Dr. Manfred Stock retired after 15 years as a Professor at the Faculty of Forest and Environment at Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development (HNEE). He was a core contributor to the international Master's program "Global Change Management" (GCM), established in 2006, and previously served as co-director of the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK). His teaching focused on climate system complexity and climate modeling, particularly engaging students globally. Colleagues highlighted his pioneering work in linking climate science with policy and social engagement.

Research interests centered on climate modeling, global environmental governance, and the socio-political dimensions of climate change.
