Manfred ACCROMBESSI is a Research Fellow at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Paris Descartes University, where he is affiliated with the Parasitology Laboratory - UMR216 MERIT. His work focuses on epidemiology and public health, particularly the impact of malaria during pregnancy on fetal development. He coordinates the RECIPAL study investigating early malaria exposure in pregnancy and its effects in Benin.

Research Interests
ACCROMBESSI's research emphasizes malaria epidemiology, clinical epidemiology, and public health interventions. His doctoral thesis, titled "Occurrence of malaria during pregnancy and intrauterine growth retardation in Africa," was supervised by Dr. Michel COT and Dr. Valérie BRIAND. This work contributes to understanding how malaria during gestation affects fetal growth.
