Mandy Kellums Baraka

Mandy Kellums Baraka is a licensed clinical counselor and educator affiliated with Wheaton College, where she teaches courses such as Assessment in Counseling, Multicultural Issues in Counseling, and Research Foundations of Integration. Her work bridges transnational supervision, faith integration, and creative counseling practices, with a focus on social justice and advocacy.

Her publications include studies on creative counseling in Ukraine, ethical translation in transnational settings, and cultural humility in study-abroad programs. She has presented at conferences such as the Christian Association for Psychological Studies International Conference and the American Counseling Association National Conference.

Dr. Baraka is actively involved in professional organizations like the American Counseling Association and Chi Sigma Iota. She has contributed to initiatives on grief during the pandemic and counseling for re-entry adjustment after study abroad.
