Mandy Habermann

Mandy Habermann is a Professor at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) in the Business School, specializing in International Accounting and Finance. She has served as a faculty member since 2009 and currently holds roles as Student Advisor for International Management and Member of the THI Senate since the winter semester 2023/24.

Education:

Her research integrates practical industry expertise with academic rigor, focusing on International Accounting and Finance, Corporate Finance, Mergers and Acquisitions, and Valuation. This reflects her extensive pre-academic career in high-level financial roles.

As Student Advisor for International Management, she provides direct mentorship to students. Her professional trajectory includes pivotal positions at Munich Re (2004-2009) as Corporate Finance/M&A specialist and Re-Insurance CFO, followed by Valuation and Strategy work at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (2001-2004) in Düsseldorf and Saarbrücken.
