Dr. Mandi Larsen is a Senior Lecturer in Methods and Social Sciences at Constructor University (formerly Jacobs University Bremen) and Coordinator of the BIGSSS Methods Center. She holds a PhD in Sociology from the Bremen International Graduate School of Social Sciences (BIGSSS), an MPH from Columbia University, and a BA in Sociology/Psychology from Seattle Pacific University. Her research focuses on social cohesion, gender-based violence, and health inequalities, informed by postdoctoral experiences at the University of Hamburg and NOVA Institute in Norway.

She has co-edited Frontiers in Sociology volumes on pandemic impacts and published widely in journals like Cultural-Historical Psychology and International Journal of Health Services.
