Man Ho Pang

Man Ho Pang is a Researcher at the University of Surrey, affiliated with the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences and the School of Biosciences. He holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. and specializes in multiomics studies that integrate transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, and lipidomics to uncover insights into complex biological systems.

Pang applies state-of-the-art technologies such as single-cell RNA sequencing, spatial RNA sequencing, MERFISH, and mass spectrometry to generate high-resolution datasets. He develops computational pipelines in Python, R, and Bash to process and analyze these datasets using advanced algorithms and machine learning methods, aiming to identify disease-related biomarkers and metabolic pathways not detectable through single-omics approaches.

His current research project focuses on modeling immuno-metabolic alterations to characterize disease pathogenesis and progression via single-cell and spatial multi-omic technologies. He is supervised by Olivier NF Cexus, Professor Paul A. Townsend, and Dr. Lee Gethings.
