Malte Wehr is a Doctoral Researcher at ETH Zurich's Department of Spatial Development and Urban Policy (D-BAUG). His research focuses on public acceptance of urban densification, political behavior, and experimental survey methods, supported by the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNF). He holds an M.A. in Political Science from Potsdam University and a B.A. in Political Science and Sociology from Kiel University, with additional studies at Sciences Po Bordeaux.
Malte's research interests include political science, urban policy formulation, and Bayesian statistical methodologies. His work examines how individuals form opinions and engage politically regarding housing policies and urban development in Swiss cities.
He has prior experience as a data analyst in the private sector and as a research assistant in the non-profit sector.
His recent articles analyze the interplay between housing shortages, construction activity, and public acceptance of densification strategies, emphasizing evidence-based policy solutions.
