Malte Posselt

Malte Posselt, Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Science, Stockholm University, is an environmental chemist with expertise in analytical chemistry, biology, and ecotoxicology. His research focuses on organic pollutants in aquatic environments, including pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and industrial chemicals.

His work integrates environmental analytical chemistry, microbiology, biogeochemistry, and hydrology to develop high-resolution methods for pollutant tracing, assess their environmental behavior, and identify risk mitigation strategies. Current projects explore:
