Malin Lindstedt is a Professor and Head of the Department of Immunotechnology at Lund University since 2025. Her research focuses on the biology of human dendritic cells (DCs) in the context of head and neck cancers and hypersensitivity reactions, with an emphasis on DC activation mechanisms and their influence on T cell responses. She leads the Dendritic Cell Immunobiology group, which investigates:
- Immune profiling of head and neck cancers
- In vitro 3D cell systems for oropharyngeal cancer
- Adverse immune responses to xenobiotic compounds
She co-founded SenzaGen AB in 2010 and has held academic leadership roles including Deputy Head of Department (2018-2024) and Director of PhD Studies (2015-2024).
