Kathrin Zeller is an Associate Professor at the Department of Immunotechnology, Lund University, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering. Her research focuses on in vitro models to investigate human cellular toxicity caused by chemicals, chemical mixtures, and nanoparticles.
Her work integrates proteomics, genomics, and bioinformatics to analyze cellular responses to xenobiotic exposure, with an emphasis on signaling pathways and stress compensation systems. She is part of the paradigm shift in toxicology towards predictive and preventive approaches for environmental safety.
