Malene Friis Hansen is an Associate Research Scholar at Princeton University's Department of Anthropology. She transitioned from a biological background into cultural biology, blending anthropology and biology through interdisciplinary research. Supported by Professor Agustin Fuentes, she has contributed to seven peer-reviewed publications, four manuscripts under review, and authored two book chapters and practice guides. She coordinates the Anthropology Postdoc Group and Multispecies Salon, fostering academic collaboration and community.
Her research focuses on cultural biology and multispecies interactions, emphasizing evolutionary and ecological dimensions.
