Christian J. Rivera is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Princeton University's High Meadows Environmental Institute and an Affiliated Scholar in the Department of Anthropology. He holds academic degrees from Princeton (B.A.), Columbia (M.A.), and the University of Florida (Ph.D.). His research bridges ecology, anthropology, and conservation science, focusing on multispecies relations, social-ecological systems, and urban biodiversity conservation. He is transitioning to a tenure-track position at the University of Massachusetts Boston's School for the Environment in 2025.
