Maleah Winkler is an Associate Professor at Augusta University, affiliated with the College of Education and Human Development and Department of Kinesiology. Her work explores the interplay between nutrition, exercise physiology, and stress response, with a focus on firefighter health and performance.

Her research spans Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, and Stress Response, particularly studying hydration, ketone metabolism, and mental health in emergency responders. She has published extensively in 2024 on these topics.
