Maksim Starykevich is a Researcher at the Department of Materials and Ceramic Engineering, CICECO, University of Aveiro. He holds a PhD in Materials Science (2017) from the same institution and a Chemical Engineering degree from Belarusian State University of Technology (2011). His research focuses on energy-related materials, including solid oxide fuel cells, electrocatalysis, and mixed-conducting ceramic membranes. He has conducted extensive work on corrosion protection coatings for aluminum and magnesium alloys, utilizing plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) and sol-gel techniques.
