Majid Aminzare is an Associate Professor in Accounting at the University of Bradford School of Management. He is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (HEA) and a member of the Accounting, Finance and Economics research centre. Additional qualifications include membership in the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers (ICB) and certification in Business Taxation and Accounting Principles from The Association of Tax Technicians (ATT).
Research examines accounting software integration in curricula, taxation impacts on SME capital structure, financial reporting frameworks for SMEs, cash flow management, and management accounting applications in small businesses. Teaching expertise spans taxation, financial accounting, management accounting, accounting information systems, and financial management, with specialized training in Sage Line 50 and Saasu Cloud Accounting software.
Industry experience includes 25+ years as a financial analyst at Melli Bank PLC (London), Head of Finance for two UK companies, and Contract Client Manager at Calcutt Matthews chartered accountants. Recognized with multiple student nominations for Inspirational Teaching, Lecturer of the Year, and Innovative Teaching awards since 2010.
