معرفی
Maja T. Šumar Ristović is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Belgrade, specializing in Coordination Chemistry, X-ray Structural Analysis, and Thermal Analysis. With a career spanning over two decades at the same institution, she has held roles such as Researcher-Intern, Assistant, and Research Associate, culminating in her current position since 2019.
- PhD in Chemical Sciences (University of Belgrade, 2012)
- MSc in Chemical Sciences (University of Belgrade, 2001)
- BSc in Chemical Sciences (University of Belgrade, 1996)
Her research focuses on metal-ligand interactions, thermal degradation mechanisms, and structural transformations of coordination compounds. Recent publications analyze Zn(II), Co(II), and Cd(II) complexes, emphasizing kinetics, DFT modeling, and crystallographic properties. Notably, she contributed to the study of uranyl complexes and template condensation processes.
Dr. Šumar Ristović actively participates in institutional committees, including admission commissions for academic programs and doctoral studies, and serves as a member of the Serbian Chemical Society and the Society for Thermal Analysis and Calorimetry. Her work integrates experimental and computational methods to explore coordination polymers, metallochemistry, and thermodynamic stability.
