Maja Nordtug is a Research Fellow at the Department of Education, University of Oslo. She holds a PhD from the Department of Cultural Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (2017–2021). Her academic background includes roles as a postdoctoral fellow at Oslo Metropolitan University (2022–2023) and research positions at Aarhus University and multiple Danish institutions. Nordtug's research focuses on digital technologies in family contexts, telepresence robotics, health-related media use, and qualitative methodologies. Her work examines how digital platforms mediate healthcare interactions, family dynamics, and societal aging processes.
