Mai’a K. Davis Cross

Mai’a Cross is the Dean’s Professor of Political Science, International Affairs, and Diplomacy at Northeastern University, where she also directs the Center for International Affairs & World Cultures. She holds a PhD from Princeton University and a BA from Harvard University. Her research focuses on international cooperation, space diplomacy, European Union policy, and transatlantic relations. She has authored/co-edited six books, including International Cooperation Against All Odds: The Ultrasocial World (2024) and Security Integration in Europe (2011), which won the 2012 Best Book Prize from the University Association for Contemporary European Studies.
