Maike Basmer

Maike Basmer is a Ph.D. researcher and research assistant at the Database and Information Systems group within the Department of Computer Science at Humboldt University of Berlin. She works under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Matthias Weidlich on topics related to data structures for process data analysis and event abstraction. Her teaching activities include conducting exercises for foundational database systems and discrete structures courses at both Bachelor and Master levels.

Her research focuses on optimizing data structures for process analysis and event abstraction mechanisms. She has been involved in collaborative teaching projects since 2023, working with colleagues like Steven Purtzel and Fabian Brandt-Tumescheit.
