Maik Heinemann

Prof. Maik Heinemann holds a professorship in Economic Growth, Integration, and Sustainable Development at the University of Potsdam since 2011. He earned his doctorate in economics from the University of Hannover in 1994 and habilitated there in 1999. Prior roles included deputy professorships at Goethe University Frankfurt (2002–2003) and Georg-August-Universität Göttingen (2003), followed by a full professorship in economics at the University of Lüneburg (2004–2011). His research focuses on dynamic macroeconomics, monetary policy frameworks, and the interplay between economic growth and distributional equity.
