Prof. Dr.-Ing. habil. Maik Gude is a full Professor and Chairholder of the Chair of Lightweight Systems Engineering and Multi-Material Design at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, TU Dresden. He leads the Institute of Lightweight Engineering and Polymer Technology (ILK) as a Member of the Board and serves as Director of the Rolls-Royce University Technology Centre (UTC) Dresden focusing on Lightweight Structures and Materials. Additionally, he is Scientific Head of the ECEMP cluster and the BMBF-funded FOREL project, driving innovation in resource-efficient lightweight e-mobility structures.
